Fathers Day Pictures

I just wanted to share some of the pictures we had done for Dustin's fathers day gift. It took Kolton a bit to warm up to the photographer and he still didn't smile a whole lot, but we got some great shots. I think he is starting to sense the baby coming, he has really become attached to Dustin and me lately. He wouldn't sit down for the pictures, kept saying "want my mommy", I was sitting not even a foot away from him. Once I gave him a stool to sit on he got more comfortable and we got the following shots....Lets just say, I think I have a little football player on my hands...

Hope you enjoy!!!

Ok..I'm not all that excited about showing my
belly, the goal was to have Kolton give the baby
kisses..instead he wanted to compare thought it
was too cute not to share...

More Vacation...Fiesta Texas

Well, even though I am 7 months pregnant, Dustin was dying to take Kolton to Fiesta Texas to ride some rides. I have to admit, the thought of taking a 2 year old, and my pregnant self to a theme park in the middle of June was not something I was looking forward to, but Dustin was so excited, I couldn't say no. I was very nervous but for once, things went perfectly and we could not have had more fun. Kolton is my little dare devil. He LOVED the rides, exspecially the ones he got wet on. Unfortunatly, I wasn't able to get many pictures of him on the rides being that I couldn't go along, but I did grab a few. Kolton was such a trooper, I think we got worn out long before he did. He was in a perfect mood and never whined or complained once...until we left that is. We had to drag him out kicking and screaming, but once I put him in the stroller, he was asleep before we even left the park.

He was so exctied, he latched the belt before Dustin
got in, the attendant had to reset the ride...

Lake Medina Vacation

Well for our family vacation this year, we decided to stay close to home and take a short road trip to lake Medina, just west of San Antonio. We stayed at the Thousand Trails resort in a cabin and although it was hot, we couldn't have had a better time. There were white tail deer all over the place and Kolton even got to hand feed a couple of them. They were a little nervous but we were still able to get close enough for some great pictures. Dustin is now worried Kolton won't ever want to hunt with him.

Lots to update

Last time I posted, we had just found out we would be welcoming another little boy to our family. We had some computer issues so I havent been able to update since.

Things are going great with the pregnancy. I am now starting my 26th week, and things are looking great. I have been off all my medications for nearly 3 months now and thriving. Other then being miserable in this Texas heat I don't really have any complaints. The baby is now measuring exactly where he should be, we have are hoping that he will be close to 8 or 9 pounds although I won't believe it till he gets here. Our due date is September 22, and it can't some soon enough although I am trying to get in as much one on one time with Kolton before then.

Kolton has been having lots of practice in the "big brother" role. Aunt Jojo is nanny to an adorable 4 month old little girl, and if its any insight to how Kolton will be with his little brother, I have NO WORRIES. When they are here, Kolton wants to do everything from feeding her to changing her diapers, or just trying to entertain her. I can't wait to introduce him to his little brother and watch the bond that will be between them.

More to come from our San Antonio vacation...
