A December to remember...

With all the busyness of the holidays, November December and January have all sort of run together. We had a total of four Christmas' if my count is correct. Our December started out with a cookie decorating party hosted by one of of Kolton's friends. He loved this idea, I think its something we will do each year with him and Kason from now on. The odd part is Kolton LOVES the decorating part, but really doesn't care to eat the cookies after. Anyways here he is licking the icing off the knife...

And then we started out Christmas travels. We started it off with Christmas Eve in Huntsville with my side of the family. Here is Lucas and Kolton opening gifts. Lucas would open one and pass it on ready to open the next..he lapped Kolton who would carefully open each gift, then want to take it out an play before moving on. Such different personalities its really funny.

Kason and his Aunt Tara...

Next was Christmas morning at home a tradition we decided to start the year Kolton was born. Opa and Uncle Josh came over and watched Kolton open gifts and have a small Christmas day lunch with us. Here is Kolton playing with his easel from Santa.

and the drum set he asked Santa for I guess he was a good boy this year... (Thanks Mimi)
He LOVES to play these all day...he normally will get his other instruments and pass them out to whomever is sitting here and we have to all play together its really sweet. And when kason gets upset, he wants us all to play him a song to make him happy...and actually about 50 percent of the time it works.

Kolton got a really cool train from Opa, Uncle Josh is helping teach him how to drive it, actually I think Kolton was showing him...one of his favorites as well.

Dustin's dad..Opa..and Kason on Christmas Day

Opa and two of his grandson's.

Then off to Fredericksburg the day after Christmas to celebrate there.
Mimi and Kason

Pop's and Kolton

Opie, Kolton, Omie, and Kason...Great grandparents.

While in Fredericksburg, I had a chance to go to lunch with Dustin's sister Cory, sister in law Trish and some extended family. Cory hadn't met Kason yet, and I hadn't got to see her little boy Brian that was born about a month after Kason. It was a lot of fun hanging out with the girls and swapping babies for an afternoon...lol.

After getting back home from Fredericksburg I was so ready to get my house back in order. Kolton decided he needed to help put the tree away. He was very proud of his muscles...

Always giving Kason love. He is so affectionate with him...and most the time Kason is receptive...

and lastly, with all the hustle and busyness of the holidays, Dustin took me and the boys for a day in Galveston. Although it was too cold to play in the sand, Dustin walked Kolton out on one of the fishing piers and took a few pictures...Kolton loves the beach and I look forward to taking both boys back when its warmer.
