Every year we take a trip for our anniversary and have decided that it should be a family event. This summer we were finally able to make it to Destin, Florida, somewhere we have been trying to go for the past 5 years. We almost canceled our trip due to a oil leak in the gulf and rumors that the oil had already reached the beaches in Destin. After much consideration we decided to go ahead with the trip in hopes of at least getting a day or two before the oil was too bad. Thankfully when we reached Destin there was no oil and we were able to enjoy every day on the beautiful white sandy beaches...we both had forgot just how gorgeous it was there. Kolton instantly fell in love too, and Kason just liked the taste of the sand :)
We took Nana and Papa (my mom and step-dad) along so that Dustin and I could get a date night for our anniversary. It was a great trip and we hope to make it an annual one.

- Dustin and I met in September of 2003 by chance. We knew right away we had a connection and we had found what we had been searching for. We got engaged about one year later, then married in June of 2005. We were blessed with our "Miracle Baby" in December 2006. Our lives are as close to perfect as they could be right now. We have made our home in The Woodlands, Texas and look forward to raising our family here.
