Halloween Fun

What an exciting year for Kolton. This is the first year of trick~or~treating for Kolton, and him understanding what it was all about. It didn't take him long to get what it was all about. Being that PawPaw and Aunt Jojo had bought Kolton a power wheels firetruck when he was only 3 or 4 months old, we decided to put it to good use. Kolton wanted to dress up as a fireman and drive his firetruck around, so I decided to dress Kason up as a dalmatian to complete the package. Kolton of course loved this idea. The shopping center by our house had a special trick~or~treat for the neighborhood on Friday the 30th. Kolton made out like a bandit, and was a hit driving his truck around. On Saturday, we went to Boo at the Zoo for a little more trick~or~treating fun with the animals, this time leaving the firetruck at home. Although we didn't make it all the way through the zoo, Kolton had loads of fun, and as always, loved seeing the animals. Being that this was his first year, we decided to end it all with a stroll around our neighborhood for one last round of treats. Again, the little fireman and his truck (Kason too) were a huge hit...people were giving him extra candy just for him being so cute. By the end of the night, Kolton was a self proclaimed professional, but what surprised me even more was when we got home to pass out candy to the older kids. Kolton and I sat out in the driveway passing out candy, and everytime someone would walk past, he would yell at them "hey, come get your candy" it didn't matter if they were young or old, in costume or not, he wanted them to get their candy. It was a great weekend and Kolton has enough candy to last him a long time. Lucky for me, he prefers fruit so it will probably get thrown out anyways. Here are some pictures from our adventures in no particular order...Enjoy!
