So far November has been a very busy month for us. I have kind of made it my goal to make it the last few weeks all about Kolton and doing things for him. Kolton is doing very well at school, and can't wait to go. When I pick him up he talks non-stop about the things they have done that day, lots of crafts and painting which he seems to really love. He is learning new songs, and even a little bit of spanish. I couldn't be more proud of him, I know I say that often, but its because he amazes me each day with how smart he already is. Speaking of being proud, I am SO happy to say Kolton is fully potty trained. A task I was very nervous about but Kolton pretty much just decided one day he was done with diapers and that was it. He is growing up so fast. I can't believe he will be turning 3 years old in just a few weeks, he will always be MY baby but he definitely is no longer a baby. Kolton still loves Kason so much. I have waited for the day for Kolton to ask me to send Kason back, but I only see that brotherly bond growing stronger each day.
Kason is doing great. We had his 2 month check up last week and got a great report. He is weighing in at 15lbs now (just a few shy of Kolton at 2 months) and he is 24inches long. He is now rolling over and smiles and coos at us all day long. He still sleeps a lot, but during the day is staying awake for longer periods of time and sleeping on average 6 hours a night...something Kolton NEVER did. He is growing so fast and I know before I know it I will be planning his 1 year birthday. Time flies and I am trying really hard to cherish the moments that I have with them.
Pictures and more posts to come soon....
